The bore of the Pisoni German silver English horn staple corresponds exactly to that of the Pisoni brass English horn staple. Therefore, the standard Pisoni English horn mandrel can also be used.

Like all nickel silver staples, this staple has a direct response and vibrates more strongly. This can sometimes become too "noisy" in combination with the European reed.
