Oboe staple: Roseau Chantant RC1, brass

With its RC1 staple, Roseau Chantant has developed an alternative to the Chiarugi 2, especially for those playing on Marigaux 901 instruments.

The RC1 is slightly less conical in comparison to the Chiarugi 2. According to Dimiter Jordanov who developed these staples, the RC1 helps stabilise usually problematic notes on Mariguax 901 instruments, like first octave g 19s, and second octave c 19s, f# 19s and g 19s.

Both the RC1 staples and the matching RC1 mandrel are made by Chiarugi.

The sound is round, a well-projected tone quality is more easily achieved.
