Marigaux's density-tested, gouged cane is very popular amongst oboists, even those who do not play on Marigaux instruments.

Each piece is made from Southern French reed and gouged by hand on Kunibert Michel gouging machines. The classification on the density-scale is made according to a similar scale as the density-tested cane from Oboe Shop. Marigaux density-tested cane can also be ordered as shaped cane.

Please note that the Marigaux density-tested cane is made from different cane than the non-density-tested cane.
