Alliaud Rohrholz enjoys great popularity for all instruments in the oboe family, and their cane is often used for oboe d'amore reeds.

Since d'amore reeds are rarely made, many oboists ask themselves which dimensions are correct. Of course, there is no right or wrong with oboe d'amore reeds, but as a rule of thumb, you should choose cane that has a thickness of 1-2/100mm more and a diameter larger than your oboe reeds.
