Baroque oboe reed: Tasso

Hand-made single-staple Baroque oboe reeds, appropriate for many different models of 415 oboes. Every reed is hand-shaped and hand-scraped, then tested on a 415 Stanesby Senior copy by Pau Orriols for at least three days.

With Tasso reeds a good sound easily-achievable and the fork fingerings are stable.

Purely due to the instability of cane going through shipping and having to perform in different climates, Tasso uses a wire and parafilm to control the opening of the reed. We recommend to remove the wire after the reed has settled.
