The Lorée staples are hugely popular with American oboists - mainly due to Lorée oboe accessories being so highly regarded in the USA. The oboe staples are available in solid brass as well as in a silver plated or a gold plated version.

In particular, the trend towards gold plated staples has been evident with Lorée staples for years.

With the "AK" and "DM" model staples, Lorée also offers two relatively unknown alternatives to their classic staple.
