Molinier tube canes grow in the Var region, in the South East of France, near Fréjus.
The canes grow on sandy soils, next to the Mediterranean sea. Thereby the plant only reaches 6.5 ft in height. As a result of the permanent breeze in the area, this medium-hard cane is very flexible.
