These steel clippers are ideally suited to tip cutting due to their straight cutting angle.

They are particularly useful for touring as the Japanese made clippers are very light and small and therefore take up very little space in your reed making kit.

To cut the tip, you lift the arm and turn it to the back. A small amount of pressure is all that is required to cut the tip cleanly.
