We are often asked about the purpose of the round cork at the bottom of the Pisoni cor anglais staples. The answer is quite simple: the cork is there to make it easier to place the reed on and off of the bocal.

The bore of the staple is the same as the Pisoni cor anglais staple without the added cork. The staple is also available in nickel silver.
