Staple for Cor Anglais: Chiarugi 2, brass

The Chiarugi 2 cor anglais staple is easily the most popular cor anglais staple on the market. Until now there have only been two options - with or without a collar (lip) at the bottom.

At our suggestion, this leading staple is now available as "Chiarugi 2 Oboe-Shop" which is made using thinner brass tubing. This concept was developed through our customers positive experiences with other thinner walled staples such as Eterion, Apollon, Marigaux 1 SL and Marigaux 2. Reeds made on these new oboe shop staples vibrate with ease and without becoming too shouty - as can sometimes be the case with nickel staples.

The geometry of the staple from the oval top to the round bottom is identical to the previous Chiarugi 2 model. Therefore the Chiarugi 2 Cor Anglais mandrel fits these new staples perfectly.

The length of these staples - also available in nickel silver - is 27mm.
