Oboe staple: Albrecht Mayer, brass

Carmelo Guercio and Albrecht Mayer not only share a love of the oboe, but also a passion for experimenting. As a result, the Albrecht Mayer oboe staple was established in August 2012, after approximately a year of development.

As the table below shows, the Albrecht Mayer staple has quite large dimensions, and thus accommodates the voluminous playing style of the solo oboist of the Berlin Philharmonic.

In order not to damage the special geometry of the staple (transition from oval to round), we recommend using the appropriate Albrecht Mayer mandrel.
