The measurements of the Guercio D11 staple lie in between those of the D10 and the D12 staple. While the D10 oboe staple is slightly narrower, the D12 oboe staple is slightly wider.

Like all Guercio staples, the D11 is made exclusively of brass. From all manufacturers, the alloy used here is the most similar to the metal used for the original Klopfer staples in the former DDR.
