Oboe staple: Chiarugi 5 (Glotin copy), brass

Both Chiarugi and Guercio, with his G1, have copied the shape of the Glotin oboe staple and now offer their own versions of this staple.

Although the original's shape has been reproduced successfully, the feeling while playing on one of these new versions is still noticeably different. This is due to the different production methods of these three manufacturers and that different alloys are used by each. As a result, these three Glotin variants differ rather more than one might desire.

We also stock the Chiarugi Type 5 mandrel, which matches this staple.
