Oboists are always faced with the challenge of not being able to play properly without having a high-quality reed. However, it can take years to learn how to make reeds well and to perfect your specific style.

Unfortunately, during my first semesters at the conservatoire, I took so much time making reeds that I had too little time left to play.

Therefore, I have now decided to develop a reed specifically for students and ambitious pupils that meets their high artistic demands.

With these reeds, I hope to relieve some of the pressure that reed-making can create in the often stressful daily lives of music students. These reeds are purposefully made to be a bit lighter and easier than my chamber music or orchestral reeds, so that lips are spared as much as possible during many hours of practice.
