Oboe d'amore staple: Chudnow AD

Product number: 001420 Manufacturer:
The Chudnow AD oboe d'amore staple is part of a series of staples with internal silicon rings, developed by Marc Chudnow. This ring ensures that the staple remains securely in place on the crook, making the use of additional sealing tube unnecessary.

This staple's bore is identical to the Chiarugi oboe d'amore staple and can therefore be used with the Chiarugi oboe d'amore mandrel.

In order to integrate the internal silicon ring within, the staple was lengthened by 2mm when compared to the Chiarugi oboe d 19amore staples. However, because this additional part is later placed on the bocal and its positioning on the crook is identical to that of Chiarugi staples 19, the playing characteristics remain unchanged.

The staple can be unscrewed, enabling you to exchange the silicon ring, which we also stock.
