Beeswax is used to seal the bound thread. To achieve the desired effect, the thread is pulled across the beeswax block before tying on.

This makes beeswax an (ecological) alternative to multi-purpose glue ("Uhu").

We source our beeswax from a local beekeeper in our town.

One block contains 20g (0.7oz) beeswax.
