In the US, M. Richert Pfau’s performance affiliations are with American Bach Soloists, Jubilate Baroque Orchestra and California Bach Society in San Francisco, Musica Angelica and Corona del Mar Baroque Festival in Los Angeles, Trinity Consort in Oregon, and Ensemble Rebel in New York. In Europe she has appeared with Musica Alta Ripa, L’Arco, Corona Musica Kassel, Cythara Ensemble Hamburg, and Accademia dell’Arcadia Poznan. She directs her own ensemble, toutes suites, reviving forgotten Baroque music and transforming it “from (dusty archival) page to (the modern) stage”.
Björn Lindemann, Ph.D., is a molecular biologist and amateur oboe player. In addition to playing the „modern“ oboe he became interested in the performance of baroque music on historical instruments and he also began to play the baroque oboe as a student. Björn Lindemann played in numerous amateur orchestras and ensembles during his academic education in biology and physics at the University of Göttingen and during his subsequent career in the biotechnology industry. He owns a collection of excellent copies of baroque oboes, oboes d’amore, tailles and oboes da caccia by Steenbergen, Klenig, Schlegel, Eichentopf, Denner and Stanesby.
